Nothegger Massiv thinks and acts “green”. For us, progress means being one step ahead and actively helping to shape a sustainable future. For us, this includes sustainable investment in renewable energies, efficient production processes and the willingness to hold on to regional wood values.

That is why we only use round timber from sustainably managed forests and our own sawmill, including timber drying for further processing.

With the construction of the new furniture components factory and the competence centre at the headquarters in St. Ulich am Pillersee in Austria, Nothegger Massiv is investing not only in sustainable design but also in energy-optimized processes through a robot-supported production line. Furthermore, Nothegger’s green roof areas and photovoltaic panels cover up to 100% of its electricity requirements. Wood residues are fed into the com- pany’s own district heating network and supplied to neighbouring residents. In this way, Nothegger Massiv acts in an environmentally conscious manner in the sense of a cicling economy.
